In depth
Verdict
Barton Nic has hit a rich vein of form and can make it three wins in a row, Jericho and Mulkev Prince should chase him home. Following a couple of unexplainably poor efforts, Barton Nic has returned to his best, he slaughtered his rivals at Plumpton, before comfortably accounting for Advance East at Chepstow. He is still way below his hurdles mark and should make it three wins in a row. Jericho returned to winning ways at Kelso last time, beating the good yardstick Midlem Melody, he must go close here despite top-weight. Mulkev Prince was also successful last time, taking a poor event at Towcester. He is now at the veteran stage and it is hard to see him winning here, but he soul be good enough for some place money. Lorient Express is the other obvious danger, but it is hard to look further than Barton Nic who easily fits the bill.
