    Verdict

This looks tricky with a couple of progressive types returning from lay-offs. Saab Almanal is on a decent mark making a belated seasonal debut and Fabricate beat a subsequent winner on his handicap debut at Haydock back in May though is 9lb higher today. TOP TUG (NAP) has yet to win this year but is usually in the mix in this grade and it could be his turn at last after another good effort at Newbury with Ryan Moore back on board for his only ride on the card. Kinema never threatened the winner when runner-up at Doncaster last time while Norab, Magic Dancer and Noble Gift all ran way below par on their latest starts.
