Verdict

Irilut can benefit from Sam Waley Cohen's handling to beat the likes of Cash In Hand, Coal Queen and Tooley Park. Irilut was last seen under rules when down the field behind Whyso Mayo in last year's Foxhunter Chase at the Cheltenham Festival, but since then has been in good form between the flags. Caught near the finish by Lough Ennel at Chaddesley Corbett when sent off as favourite earlier this month, the 11-year-old lines up fit and fancied. He may have most to fear from the younger Cash In Hand who shaped well for new connections on his hunter-chase debut here a fortnight ago, finishing third to Chita's Flight. The former Charlie Mann inmate has also been sweetened up by a spell pointing, and should be found a suitable opportunity somewhere down the line. Coal Queen and Tooley Park have both displayed a bit of ability in the past, especially the latter, while Airoski has the experienced Richard Burton in the plate. The one to beat here though is Irilut.
