Verdict
Scarlet Ruby had shown nothing in four starts over timber before landing a similar race to this over the track and trip on fast going a fortnight ago for which she's been raised 4lb. Bridge Road had been placed four times over hurdles before a poor chasing debut at Uttoxeter and reverts to the smaller obstacles. If Karl's Berg Did has generally raced in better company and though returning from a long absence his stable has been in fine form. Martin Spirit has been very disappointing since arriving from France though a close second at Fontwell in May would put him in the frame. MIND HUNTER shot up the weights after landing a Newton Abbot handicap in April but is gradually dropping back and ran well for a long way at Wincanton last time.
