    Verdict

Bombshell Bay has been placed twice since winning at Windsor in April but looks thoroughly exposed. A similar comment applies to Faithful Promise but Katleen has had just the three runs and looks to be gradually improving – she makes her handicap debut this evening. MRS BENSON wasn’t beaten far over course and distance last month on her first attempt at a mile. She’s only gone up a pound and looks to have a good chance of shedding her maiden tag. Trogon is 0-12 but looks more of a danger than Bowler Hat on his latest fourth at Beverley.
