Verdict
Ffos Las winner Scorched Son was due to run at Kempton yesterday, also under a penalty, but would have every chance if diverted here instead. The front-running Laterly is starting to come down the weights while Malanos is a C&D winner and effective on heavy ground, though lost his way badly earlier this year. BIN END won by nine lengths on soft ground over C&D earlier this month. He's only been raised 5lb for that and, though this is a bit more competitive, is probably the one to beat again with Luggers Hall out of form and Alwaystheoptimist returning from a year on the sidelines.
