        Verdict

        Hugo Palmer trained last year’s winner and today’s representative NEVER BACK DOWN went close over the minimum trip at Newmarket on his recent debut. Normal progress should see him off the mark in this. Jedi Master will likely improve after a modest debut effort here earlier in the month but a newcomer may pose a bigger threat with both Haddaf and Plundered related to winners and preferred to Dragons Tail.
