Maze Runner went up 10lb after a shock victory over Unexpected Depth in this last year and has struggled subsequently. He could still prove the best of his stable's four runners with Jack Foley's claim a bonus though he was well beaten behind Panda Boy in a Pertemps Qualifier here in December when several of these, including last year's runner-up, were involved. Futurum Regem did best of them in third with A Great View close behind and DUNBOYNE beaten a total of seven lengths in fifth. The latter suffered interference at a crucial stage and is taken to make amends and land this nice prize. Good Time Jonny has been raised 9lb for scoring at the Christmas fixture while Priory Park is up 10lb for beating a huge field a day earlier.
