Verdict
For a horse rated 145, WHISKEY SOUR has a poor strike-rate over hurdles having won just twice in a dozen starts, the latest a Grade 1 on this track in December 2017. He's been highly tried subsequently and appeared to be back to something like his best when a close third in a Naas Grade 3 in January. He's suited by the race conditions, easily holds Wolf Prince on that last run, and should get back to winning ways. Gallant John Joe hasn't won since landing a Naas Listed hurdle three years ago and has been chasing since returning from a long break. Bua Boy has some smart form to his credit including when runner-up to Dysart Diamond in a Grade B handicap at Listowel though he wouldn't want more rain.
