Verdict

Convergence hasn't done much wrong and sets a high standard but it will be a surprise if one of the well-connected newcomers isn't good enough and GLENEAGLES fits the bill. The Galileo colt is out of the Cherry Hinton winner You'resothrilling which makes him a full-brother to Marvellous. Aidan O'Brien also runs Toscanelli, another by Galileo out a dam who has already produced five winners including Group 1 winner Nayarra. Jim Bolger has won two of the last three renewals so Parish Boy has to be respected despite the fact he's bred for middle-distances. Ripped is related to numerous winners and worth a market check along with yet another Galileo offspring Pincode, who is out of a Group 3 winner.
