In depth
Verdict
Geological has won twice around here but has been looking a bit high in the weights. Shane Foley was on board when Parkers Hill won comfortably at Naas but a 9lb rise and much softer going makes this more difficult. Soft ground would aid the cause of Facethepuckout, a very easy winner in those conditions at Listowel in September, while Sirjack Thomas ran very well behind Lord Rapscallion at Bellewstown last week. LEADERSHIP RACE completed a double at Dundalk in October and made an eye-catching reappearance over the track and trip last month. If he handles the easier conditions he can get back on the winning trail. Lustown Baba, who landed a lucrative auction race on testing ground at Naas in October, looks on a handy weight as does Lightning Amber, who didn't get the run of the race on her comeback here last month.
