Verdict

STEPHEN HERO was facing fast ground and this trip for the first time when just getting up to beat Sceilg at Clonmel and with further progress likely is given the nod to complete the double. Rock N Rover reappeared with a decent effort over a longer trip at Tramore and, with that under his belt, can make his presence felt from a very lowly spot in the handicap. Rockabilly Riot has been threatening to win a race and this could be his day as he should have got closer at Navan last time. The lightly-raced Jan Jeffer was noted staying on over 7f at Down Royal and this trip should prove much more suitable.
