NAVASSA ISLAND was beaten a neck by Porta Fortuna in a Naas Grade 3 on her debut and by nearly seven lengths by that rival in the Albany Stakes at Royal Ascot. She's likely to prove too good for those with racecourse experience though Glor Tire led for a long way over the track and trip last month and Brilliant is certain to have come on for her run at Cork. Glamora missed the break at Roscommon but was staying on nicely. Andalusian Star is a half-sister to a winner over this trip while Bellezza is a half-sister to three winners and out of a mare who scored over this trip. With Style cost €150,000 and is related to three winners.
