Verdict

The new Champions Weekend concept gets off to a tricky start as many of the fancied entries are drawn wide and the previous three winners were berthed low. Tamadhor's two runs give her an obvious chance though she faces fast ground for the first time and is drawn widest of all. Joseph O'Brien has opted for Wedding Vow, a daughter of Galileo out of the Oaks runner-up Remember When, but she'll do well to win from stall 12 over a trip that may prove too short. BOCCA BACIATA attracted good support on her debut in what looked one of the season's strongest maidens so far at the Curragh won by Found. She showed enough promise to suggest she'll be winning soon and this could be her day. Chinese Light started a short-priced favourite on her debut at Galway but couldn't quite keep up the gallop after attempting to make all. She'll have come on for the experience and could lead them all a merry dance. Jim Bolger's Sea The Stars filly Stellar Glow is another to keep an eye on.
