    In depth

    Verdict

Montego Bay raced over the minimum trip without success last year but is related to middle-distance winners while Dixie Bluebell placed over 7f at Gowran a week ago. Dermot Weld had several winners on the card in 2019, including this race, and 270,000gns purchase Apres Toi is preferred to Acanella, who is in the same ownership. Santa Florentina is another newcomer to note but CLIMATE can include the Irish 2000 Guineas winner Power and a Grade 1 winner in Canada among her winning relatives and Jessica Harrington’s Irish Oaks entry may prove good enough on her debut.
