Verdict

NORTH WIND led for a long way in what looked a strong maiden at the Curragh and wasn't given a hard time once passed. His stable companion National Guard was always up with the pace but couldn't find extra while Parkers Hill was behind the selection when both made their debuts at Naas. Darkash was noted staying on late in that Curragh event so should get much closer but Facethepuckout was well beaten in the same race and has since ran moderately at Listowel. Jonny Levins knows how to get one ready at home and any money for Hitchslap should be noted as this isn't the toughest of starts.
