Creekside looked suited by some give in the ground on his debut at Naas and didn't appear to enjoy the fast conditions when beaten by Hurricane Havoc at Navan. Manacor has a very long absence to overcome but did everything right when scoring at Galway in August and there should be plenty more to come. Liberty's Gift followed a very pleasing debut at Dundalk with a battling success in a big field at Listowel and is certainly not out of this but ESTITHMAAR gets the vote. Kevin Prendergast's colt, who is related to some useful types, made a nice debut at Limerick before overcoming trouble in-running to score at Cork and is the type to make good progress this season.
