In depth

Verdict

All eyes will be on Willie Mullins' newcomer Champagne Fever, a very easy winner on his only start between the flags in April. He's obviously one to keep an eye on but this looks a strong contest and BRIGHT NEW DAWN is given the vote to go one better than at Fairyhouse where he made the strongly fancied Venture Capital pull out the stops. Thomas Edison finished third in that event and had previously made a good impression at Down Royal while The Mighty Milan is another who made a very promising debut behind subsequent dual winner Corbally Ghost at Thurles.
