Verdict

Very Vite was having his first start for well over two years when runner-up to Fredsmemory at Navan but that didn't look the best of races and this looks tougher. No doubt he'll have come on for the run but he'll be a short price and looks worth opposing with THEKINGOFCONNEMARA. Liz Doyle's charge looked in need of a greater test of stamina when staying on strongly over the minimum trip at Cork in October and will almost certainly get that here. Winning point-to-pointer Wedding Present is another who will be suited by today's distance after a promising debut under Rules at Cork while the four-year-olds Giantofaman and Mullaghanoe River have shown enough potential to suggest they can get involved.
