Verdict
A high-class field of novices with the unbeaten Call Me Lyreen receiving 3lb from older horses in his bid for a four-timer. However, he looks the stable second string as Ballyadam landed the odds in style in the Grade 1 Royal Bond at Fairyhouse when N'golo was 2 lengths behind after finishing strongly. The latter also looks the second choice of the Willie Mullins pair as Paul Townend has chosen APPRECIATE IT. The Cheltenham bumper runner-up had little to do to make a winning start over timber at Cork but gave the impression there was much more left in the tank. Dewcup, who was 8 lengths fourth in the Royal Bond, will appreciate a likely stronger gallop here but the remainder will need to step-up on what they have shown to date.
