Verdict

CHACUN POUR SOI has five Grade 1 wins over fences to his credit including this a year ago. His victory over Allaho in the Champion Chase at Punchestown was of the very highest order and he obviously wasn't right in the Tingle Creek at Sandown. Envoi Allen was put in his place by Allaho in the John Durkan at Punchestown but it's less than a year ago that he completed an incredible 11-timer under Rules so shouldn't be written off just yet. Battleoverdoyen had Sizing Pottsie a long way behind when landing a Grade 2 at Down Royal last October though the latter has improved subsequently.
