Verdict

Santonito couldn't get close to The Nice Guy when both made their debuts at Fairyhouse and the winner's yard is represented by EMBASSY GARDENS here. A €110,000 purchase, he's the first foal of a mare from a very smart jumping family and should be suited by the trip and ground. Percy Pi has changed stables since finishing runner-up at Worcester so another newcomer is more likely to pose a bigger threat. Sam Curling and Derek O'Connor are a formidable team and Any Biscuits is a half-brother to a winning hurdler.
