rear of mid-division for most, never a factor

In depth

Verdict

Rare Bob won this a year ago when making all with Organisedconfusion not far behind in third. The winner is just 3lb higher but Arthur Moore's charge is up a massive 19lb after winning the Irish Grand National though he looks to have had his season so far geared towards this. Paddy Flood, who rode the winner a year ago, is on board Last Time D'Albain here and his mount very nearly defied a massive rise in the weights at Cork last time. Ted Walsh has worked wonders with SEABASS who has returned from a very long absence in brilliant form and stormed clear of subsequent Thyestes Chase runner-up Tullintain under Katie Walsh at Limerick's Christmas meeting. He's been raised another 9lb for that but is in such great heart that his winning run can stretch to six. Stephanie Kate makes her handicap debut but is a very useful performer over timber and fences and could prove a blot on this handicap.
