In depth

Verdict

Jack Kennedy has been the young jockey find of the season so his booking for the hat-trick seeking FR HUMPHREY looks significant. He was returning from a break when galloping his rivals into the ground at Fairyhouse in November so the lack of a recent run is no concern. Garrai Phaidin took advantage of his nearest challenger’s fall when coming home for an easy victory at Thurles but he hadn't jumped well himself and will need to do better with a 12lb rise to contend with. Court Frontier was operating between the flags and in hunter chases last season but won very easily over hurdles in November before placing in two decent handicaps over fences. Down Under isn't in the best of form but has won here in the past and will get a good ride from Jody McGarvey.
