Verdict

David O'Meara sends SO BELOVED (NAP) and Larchmont Lad from Yorkshire and though the former hasn't won since May of last year he was runner-up in a Curragh Group 3 in August and did even better when just failing to get on terms with Aclaim in the Group 1 Prix de La Foret at Chantilly with some high-class performers behind. Making Light won a Group 3 on this card a year ago and has twice narrowly been beaten at this level recently so she has to be on the shortlist. Flight Risk is penalised for his Group 3 victory over the course and distance in June but has continued in good form though he was receiving weight from Onenightidreamed when the latter won a Group 3 on heavy ground at the Curragh in May of last year. Spanish Tenor is best on very testing ground as he showed when third in a Tipperary Group 3.
