Verdict
SOVEREIGN DEBT won this last year and, after several near-misses, bounced back with a victory over the fancied Fannaan at Doncaster last week. This is his trip and ground and he'll be difficult to beat. Rose De Pierre completed a hat-trick over a mile including at this level before finding testing ground against her at Naas where she couldn't get to the progressive Intimation. That was no disgrace and stepping down in trip shouldn't pose a problem. Flight Risk hasn't won since April of last year but was very close behind Rose De Pierre at Cork in August and has an 8lb pull in the weights. The three-year-old Bebhinn steps up to this trip for the first time and wasn't stopping over 6f at the Curragh earlier this month while Blue De Vega has been racing over further and reverts to the trip that saw him successful here a year ago.
