Verdict

All of these bar Into The Sunset, who was engaged here yesterday, are winners with the vote going to THE NICE GUY, who looked as though the run would do him good when successful at Fairyhouse. Stable companion Flemencello made a winning debut at Kilbeggan before finding quicker ground against her at Gowran while Dorans Weir got better as the race went on at Thurles and has plenty of scope. Smooth Player battled to victory at Galway which should stand him in good stead but Gaelic Air and Johnny Cigar will need to improve again.
