Verdict
FAVORI DE CHAMPDOU, a Grade 2 winner over hurdles at Limerick a year ago, was very impressive in a Grade 2 novices' chase at Punchestown with Flooring Porter well beaten in third. The latter jumped left and should do better here but the winner is expected to confirm the form and can take this. Corbetts Cross did very well to beat the smart Three Card Brag over a trip too short at Fairyhouse while Grangeclare West made all and jumped well to make a winning start over fences at Naas and can only improve.
