Verdict
SILVERLORD had some solid form over timber before completing a double at the turn of the year. He's been going well on the Flat over the last few weeks and can continue his progress and take this. False Economy won a chase here in October and is another who has been in action on the level, while Clarach was in fine form last summer and scored at the Galway Festival. A 10lb rise halted his progress but he's no forlorn hope in this conditions event. Those who saw Wilde Wit Pleasure having a very hard race when narrowly beaten by Whodoyouthink at Wexford may believe he won't have recovered but his form is strong enough if at his best, though a strike-rate of 1-17 hardly inspires confidence and Sorceror is probably better over fences nowadays.
