Verdict

PRINCE CHAPARRAL, three times a winner on the Flat, made a bright start over timber at Cork but didn't handle heavier ground at Thurles subsequently and can take this on going that will suit. All of Rockshandy's runs to date have been in very testing conditions and he performed very well behind Harpsy Cord here in March. He'll prove a threat if handling this ground while Maureen Danagher does well with her point-to-point horses and Avaune winner Mini Shan is one to keep an eye on. Sainte Careigne showed promise in bumpers and can make her presence felt on her hurdling debut.
