In depth

Verdict

For Sinead beat Cloudy Morning over 2m6f at Thurles but finished behind the runner-up when tackling a longer trip at Wexford so a return to this distance should see her in the shake-up. Rebel Cry was in excellent form over fences in the spring and can revert to hurdling on a 14lb lower mark so has to be respected and though Wee Small Hours has never won, he went close at Fairyhouse and it shouldn't be long before he loses his maiden tag. Willow Grange has a strike-rate of 1-36 and that victory was over fences so this can go to SEA SCORPION. Liz Doyle's charge was having only his fifth start over hurdles when a close third at Kilbeggan where he would have finished even closer but for being impeded at a crucial stage.
