CHIEF OF PANAMA gets the vote in an open race. He's the only course and distance winner in the line-up having just held on in a driving finish from Medinah Gold in May. The runner-up has since won over three miles at Down Royal while the winner failed to stay when tried over that trip subsequently. Top Of The Town showed his first sign of form when staying on strongly over three miles at Kilbeggan so the drop in trip may not be ideal but Royal Boru's two victories have come over the minimum trip. Barry Geraghty makes a welcome return to the saddle and his mount, Getting Late, didn't show his form at Kilbeggan after scoring over this trip at Downpatrick.
