Jansboy was in fine form over hurdles last autumn and has been chasing this year, though only showing a modicum of ability. He should do better back over timber while Fairy Court has been in winning form on the Flat since landing a Tramore maiden hurdle in August. Jack The Hat reverts to hurdles after a couple of moderate efforts over fences and he was running well on fast ground last summer. Wontbelongnow appears to want soft ground and though Count Salazar is very well handicapped compared to his chase rating he has been unable to take advantage on several occasions. Magical Moon is still a maiden after 24 career starts so the vote in a tricky contest goes to WHATEVER IT TAKES, a dual hurdles winner and placed in his last two starts on the Flat.
