Verdict

Dual bumper winner Dixie Lee was making her debut over hurdles when landing a Down Royal maiden and, though certain to do better, has much more to do here. Just Janice is consistent at this sort of level though is now 15lb higher than her victory at Clonmel in the summer. Fintara makes her handicap debut on a fair mark after a narrow defeat in a Limerick maiden, though that was back in May so the vote goes to the four-year-old MISS SASSIE. She was taking on older horses at Wexford last month but travelled well throughout and showed a nice turn of pace to lead near the finish. Drakaina is running very well and it shouldn't be long before she wins again from this lowly mark.
