Verdict

Snapchat won by 20l at Fairyhouse on Tuesday but was left clear when a close rival fell at the last. He has a 4lb penalty to carry but it will be a surprise if he's not in the mix again under his regular rider. HOSPITAL alternates between hurdles and fences and has cored over both this year. He's on an 8lb lower mark than the bigger obstacles and can take advantage on ground that will suit and Ger Fox' claim will aid his cause. Bank Bonus had been threatening to win before finally doing so at Wexford where he would have won more convincingly but for a last-flight error. He's up 7lb but Shane Shortall's claim takes care of most of that. Pencilhimin had only looked moderate over fences before a close third when reverting to hurdles at Naas and there's likely to be more to come despite his age.
