SHIFA arrived from France having won three bumpers and started a short-priced favourite on her debut at Thurles in January where she pulled too hard and could only finish third. She showed definite signs of improvement to get within two lengths of the well-regarded Four Commanders on a return visit last month and there doesn't appear anything of the winner's calibre here. Happy Milly has some decent form to her credit including a good run behind Macville here in October. Unlike the selection she is proven over the trip and looks a threat along with Sugar Bullet, a winning point-to-pointer and bumper whose close second to Belle Brook at Thurles in January was a nice effort. Brookville produced a massively improved display when runner-up to Bold Present at Navan and looks best of the remainder.
