Verdict

Spider Web is back for more having won this last year off a 7lb lower mark. He just got the better of Na Trachtalai Abu on that occasion with Black Scorpion, Full Cry and Timiyan all further behind. The latter’s stablemate The Big Lense landed a double with a victory at Navan when Nambour fell but has been raised a further 8lb having beaten Cabaret Queen at Listowel earlier. The latter has a shout if making the cut and Snugsborough Benny has a leading chance on his third in the Galway Plate back in July. But several competed in last month’s Kerry National at Listowel with fourth-placed INTERNAL TRANSFER taken to reverse running with the third Na Trachtalai Abu. He also finished in front of Movewiththetimes, Oscar Knight and the pulled-up Drumcliff on that first start since April and should make a bold bid.
