Verdict

Rich Belief loved the fast ground when landing a decent handicap over timber at Ayr last month but was almost five lengths behind Scott Lang when the latter landed a Navan handicap over 1m5f in March. Artistic Choice has only had four starts, three on testing ground and another on Polytrack. He ran well enough on his handicap debut behind Buckman Tavern at Listowel last time and should be thereabouts. WATERVILLE cost €280,000 but has been disappointing to date. He's by Camelot out of a mare who has produced winners with all eleven offspring to race so the half-brother to Sea Of Class needs to keep up the family tradition which he may do over this trip. Abstract's third to the progressive Unanswered at Gowran was a good run and he reportedly lost a shoe when favourite at Killarney.
