In depth
Verdict
Ruby Walsh was on board when Somatic attracted interest over three miles here recently but the pair never got competitive and eventually pulled up. Larkin enjoyed the fast ground when successful over three miles at Kilbeggan and a 7lb rise shouldn't be enough to prevent another good run while Viaduct Bud has the same extra burden after an impressive success at Clonmel and is another who should get involved. GLENBANE GENT looked as though he was about to gain his first success when falling at the last at Thurles in March and though subsequently beaten at Wexford he could have found the ground too soft and can take this under Paul Carberry.
