Verdict

Joseph O'Brien won this last year and has three entered here. Ikigai Star ran into a couple of decent performers at Fairyhouse while newcomers Acquest, related to four winners, and the €160,000 Sea The Stars colt Fisherman's Beach are both worthy of a second look. Galileo's Compass and Ethical Diamond have sound form and though Beechwood returns after a long break she's entered in two Classics and made a promising start in a Naas maiden in November. DUKE CADOR is related to a host of winners and cost 340,000gns. He's still in the Irish Derby and will be expected to come on markedly for his run at Leopardstown in April.
