Verdict
Gjoumi made all for a facile victory at Gowran and, though facing quicker ground for the first time, looks progressive enough to make a bold bid. Sit Down Lucy hasn’t won since her debut on this track last April but she’s been running in better company and her second in a Down Royal Grade 3 gives her an obvious chance. SANTA ROSSA, a Grade 2 bumper winner, produced her best run over timber when a close fifth behind Colreevy in a Punchestown Grade 1. She was very impressive when landing her maiden at Navan a year ago and is handed the vote to overcome a long absence as winning bumper Tucanae hasn’t made the expected progress from landing a Fairyhouse maiden in 2020.
