Very few of these have any worthwhile form under Rules. Derek O'Connor's presence on board Burren River is a bonus for potential supporters of the dual point-to-point winner who has the scope to do better. Jimmy Mangan has booked Jamie Codd for WINTER MAGIC, twice a winner between the flags in February before running a race full of promise on his debut under Rules at Tramore. With more progress likely he looks the one to be on in a tricky event. A Stray Shot won an open point at Tattersalls Farm earlier this month so will be fit enough to do himself justice and Ian Ferguson's Walden is consistent enough to get involved along with For A Change, who landed a confined event at Rockfield last month.
