In depth

Verdict

You Can Call Me Al has had three very good runs over hurdles and another in a bumper and it will be a surprise if he doesn't get into contention again. Ennemi Public was always in contention and stayed on well enough when showing major improvement at Clonmel while General Counsel made a nice start in a Cork bumper in April and he's from a very smart jumping family. The latter's stable companion HYBERY landed a conditions' race on the all-weather at Pau by 15 lengths last December and looks a high-class recruit so gets the nod though Jason The Militant made a very promising hurdling debut at Fairyhouse and looks a big threat.
