In depth
Verdict
Gerdalia's close third to Knockfierna at Wexford is comfortably the best form of those with experience over fences and she's likely to make a race of it with ASKANNA, who makes her chasing bow. Colin Bowe's mare beat a classy field to land a Grade 2 over timber at Punchestown in May and has been found the perfect opportunity to start what should be a successful career over fences. Dual point-to-point winner Avondhu Lady is another having her first run over the bigger obstacles and looks best of the remainder.
