Turndownthevolume finished a decent second in a handicap at Fairyhouse last month but she has a bit to find at the weights in this and it could pay to stick with YOUNG DEV in his current form. A winner over hurdles last month, he’s penalised for scoring over fences over a shorter trip here on St Stephen's Day and can strike again while the iron is hot. Alohamora made a couple of mistakes at Tramore on her chasing bow but still finished third and is preferred to Gaillimh Abu, who debuts over the larger obstacles, while Therellalwaysbeone has a shout on his best form over hurdles but was tailed off over fences at Cork last time.
