In depth

Verdict

This looks a little more competitive than the previous division though there's no doubting the credentials of LA FELINE. Paul Nolan's mare was staying on strongly behind Elazar Des Neiges over 2m3f here last month and with the longer trip certain to suit can go one better. Gills Pet won a point at Dungarvan two years ago but pulled up in three others and also a maiden hurdle before a vastly-improved display at Clonmel. Arbor Vitae showed her liking for heavy ground and front-running at Fairyhouse where she was only caught at the last and she holds Coosan Clover on that run while winning point-to-pointer Immortality will have come on markedly for her run in a Punchestown bumper on New Year's Eve.
