Verdict

An above average seller and DESERT DREAMER is our tentative pick ahead of Parisian Gift and Northern Desert. Course-and-distance form is important in races of this nature and our selection has all boxes ticked on that score. He can confirm the form of his recent race against C'Mon You Irons. Parisian Gift used to be trained by Tom Dascombe so he should know plenty about the horse in question. He doesn't seem the strongest of finishers so whether Lingfield suits is another matter entirely. Northern Desert wins plating contests with astonishing regularity at Lingfield Park. This is his toughest assignment for some time but it would be folly to discount him. Interactive is arguably better over six furlongs. Bigfanofthat was a useful sort when with Karl Burke but seems appallingly handicapped at present on the basis of his victory in a maiden on debut. Desert Dreamer gets the vote.
