        Verdict

        A very low-grade event with only RIVAS ROB ROY a winner on this track and he's handed a tentative vote with his rider's claim a plus. The veteran Lord Clenaghcastle gained his seventh career victory from 31 starts on his penultimate run at Kempton when holding off today's rival Closeness. They meet on the same terms and it should be close between them again as the former then produced a fair effort here. Shabs has never won and done better on Tapeta but the three-year-old Angel Time showed a bit more at Southwell and may be capable of better.
