Verdict
Cocunut Shy, Kitty Allen and Luxuria catch the eye in a race where it is hard to be dogmatic about many of the runners, with Cocunut Shy taken to step up on a promising debut and collect this prize. Luxuria ran in a hot maiden won by Baileys Cacao on debut, with the winner going on to a notable success on Saturday at Newmarket. Representing Richard Hannon, whose juveniles have been flying, Luxuria, beaten twelve lengths that day, needs to improve but this is a weaker affair. Kitty Allen ran well to be fourth on the all-weather surface on debut and was fancied to run well at Yarmouth next time but was disappointing. Back on the Polytrack here, Kitty Allen can give a good account. Cocunut Shy made her debut in a Yarmouth seller but was backed to go well, and despite a tardy start she ran well to be a close second. Retained by connections despite that good run, Cocunut Shy is upped in grade here but can overcome this modest opposition.
