In depth
Verdict
Our Jaffa, Davorin and Distant Connection are three against the field in another tough race to call for punters and the tentative vote goes to Our Jaffa. The selection was a good second off this mark behind behind Little Venice last time this looks easier and with the drop in trip sure to suit she will be hard to beat. Davorin rates the main danger on his debut win but he was very disappointing last time when sent off favourite. However he remains unexposed and is clearly thought capable of better so he is worth monitoring in the market. Distant Connection won well last time out when defeating Obrigado and although he has a penalty for that win in won with plenty in hand and could still be ahead of the handicapper. Finders Keepers is another last time out winner that could go well he defeated The Jobber last time but this looks much more competitive and the step up in trip is not sure to suit so he looks opposable. Of the remainder . Majors Cast is from a shrewd yard and is another unexposed type but he looks to have enough weight for what he has shown and for the winner we return to Our Jaffa.
